This unique property is currently being successfully run as a holiday retreat in the Andalucian countryside. It is found just outside the village of Sedella, a small village but with essential services. The setting of the property has lots of tranquility and peace and is located along a good condition track approximately 1.9 kilometers from Sedella. It is close to the natural park yet just over one hours drive from Malaga airport and larger villages such as Competa and the town of Velez Malaga with supermarkets, banks etc., can be reached in around 20 minutes by car.
The property comprises of the main house which has a large downstairs open plan lounge with dining area and a rustic kitchen. The kitchen has a large gas cooker with extractor over, double sink & drainer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and gas water heater. There is a long wooden breakfast bar separating the kitchen from the dining area which easily seats six people. The lounge has an open fireplace for the winter evenings and satellite television is installed. Off of the lounge is the guest toilet. On the first floor there are 2 large double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, with a sink, shower, toilet and bidet.
At either end of the main house are 2 self-contained apartments with their own entrances and terraces. Each apartment can sleep 2 people and has a kitchen area with electric hot plates, a sink, fridge and cupboards, as well as a dining table and chairs. The bathroom comprises of a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. These apartments can be rented separately or for large parties, as a block booking together with the main house accommodation.
The house has been built in rustic style with plenty of character such as the double wooden entrance doors, wooden windows, natural stone floors and the many Moorish style decorations. The property is sold with most of the furniture included, apart from some special items, including the kitchen equipment, crockery etc.
The exterior of the property is in keeping with the tranquil idea of a retreat holiday and has lots of natural fauna around with different sitting areas to enjoy the beautiful countryside around. There are an abundance of orange trees and a selection of other fruit trees also, as well as a vegetable patch which can be used for growing organic vegetables for the use of the guests. Below the main house there is a log cabin which can be used as further letting accommodation or for the owner's private accommodation. It has one bedroom, kitchen, lounge and bathroom. It is private from the main house with it's own garden area to the side. Further below this, taking the steps down to the river, there is a natural dip pool providing a refreshing change of sparkling river water to cool off in.
This property has the possibility of continuing to be run as a rural tourism establishment, or alternatively could simply be used as a large family home.
