of Cómpeta, the last 1½ being unmade
track. It is set overlooking the valley stretching
down to the coast of El Morche, a very tranquil

in the summer months. There is also a side terrace,
at present accessed from the rear of the finca,
but a doorway could easily made from the main
lounge straight onto this terrace area. There

Passing
through the entrance gates, to the right of the
finca is a small wooden children’s playhouse/extra
bedroom consisting of a bathroom and a bedroom

Below
the finca there are a number of ‘paseros’
(grape drying beds) previously used to make the
famous Moscatel Pasas or sun dried grapes. The
land is mainly planted with almond and olive trees
with a scattering of cactus and a lemon tree –
just perfect for a cool, fresh aperitif.
